Here's a strange looking tree from a local park. The trunk must have split when the tree was very young, making an arch. I think the farther end even rooted into the ground. Either way, it looks perfect for climbing.
I painted this with a limited palette of lemon yellow, burnt sienna, ivory black, and a touch of ultramarine blue.
